The initial idea to start an art blog came from last summer of 2009 when my parent came from China to visit us. It was so blessed that they made this long trip and we were able to have a wonderful time together. 
During their 6 months visiting, we traveled a lot on the northeast coast and for the first time as an adult, I got to know my parent better. My dad, a retired ocean biologist with a life long interest in history and art, really enjoyed his time at each museum we visited. The time with him in museums become one of the most valuable times that we spent together.
During our trips, I realized that there is a gap: only so few museums offer podcasts in Chinese on so limited amount of artworks. I wished many times for a podcast in Chinese so my dad’s visiting in museums would be more enjoyable. When my husband finally questioned me one day: why don’t YOU make those podcasts— it clicked!!!
